Dennis Groves just sent me this, made me chuckle. Earlier this year an XSS Worm contest was going on. A few people got passionate about the ethics but essentially everyone watched on to an anticipated dull outcome. I wonder wether a competition to share exploit code to generate the most ridiculous words on a Public Captcha (along with a humorous screen capture entry to boot!) would be seen as humor or inviting hacking? I think I know the answer and if it’s proven to be the later I could be prosecuted in the UK thanks to the fugly and fat MP for Glasgow South, Tom Harris. I am still in shock that this law is slipping into law.
