Some Security Business Questions I Would Like Answered

I’ll start with three four, five six and then ask some more……

Services Industry

Part 1 - What portion of ISV’s run their services as a cost center or as a lost leader?

Part 2 - Of the number in Part 1 what percentage do it to get closer to understanding the customer and what percentage do it as pure pre-sales or to prevent post sales support?

Software Industry

What percentage have a dedicated interaction designer? Note: Thats note the most technical graphics designer, different beast!

What percentage outsource some or all of their development of their software?

What percentage of customers would care about the last question?

How many unprooven teams, unprooven technology and unprooven business models will make it in 2007/2008?
