How do you raise the bar in developed markets? Innovate!

I am passionate about innovation and breaking the mold.  I was just watching an ad for car insurance on the TV (context: few glasses of wine shared this afternoon with a very nice and incredibally interesting ex NYC homicide copho now lives in our village in France). You know the sort of ads you see a million times a day that all sell exactly the same thing but at this point you are so numb that don’t know what the thing is……..

Churchill Insurance have decided to raise the bar by providing a service that people actually want (people need insurance but don’t always want it).

If you have an accident, they pick you up, get your car fixed (while they give you a free rental) , return it and then sort out all of the payment etc.

Now thats a service and that is how to raise the bar in a developed market.
